The dictionary loosely defines shenanigans as silly behavior or mischief, and in many cases that is true, but when you are visiting the Poconos, the definition of Shenanigans is a place that serves the food we love! Now, that’s not to say that you mischief-making travelers won’t be able to find some harmless trouble to get into during your visit, especially knowing that on the weekends this popular spot is also a dance club, but it’s the food, service, and karaoke that will make you come back night after night to Shenanigans in the Poconos!
Located at 100 Lake Drive in Lake Harmony
From the outside, Shenanigans in the Poconos gives the resemblance of a log cabin, but the large patio papered with posters announcing specials, beverages, and good times gives potential patrons the idea that this place is something more. Inside, a dark wood bar garnished with neon lighting and a marble top invites you to come on in and stay awhile, offering the promise of good times, happy conversation, and refreshing beverages. Wood tables and chairs are scattered throughout, generally filled with satisfied customers enjoying their meals. Empty tables are a rarity in this popular restaurant, so be sure to plan ahead!
The Menu
Offering an extensive pub grub menu with a unique twist, the cheesesteak spring rolls on the appetizer menu have been known to make hungry grown men cry tears of joy; in a world of crudité platters and hummus everything, something meaty makes them happy. Their Craft Burgers offer the standard Shenanigans cheeseburger, a salmon burger for those who are trying to get away from red meat, and for the adventurous eaters, a spicy hot Ghost Burger topped with ghost pepper cheese, jalapeños, and a sriracha aioli sauce that adds to the heat. Also offering a variety of hearty sandwiches, entrees, and pasta dishes, Shenanigan’s varied menu offers something good for every member of your traveling party!
Featuring special nights almost every night of the week (nothing on Wednesdays or Sundays), your dining experience will change depending on the night. Mondays are steak night, Tuesdays offer half price appetizers for guests eating in, Thursdays are half-price burger nights (also for eat in guests only), Friday is Happy Hour in Boomers (the dance club portion) and includes DJ entertainment and karaoke. On Saturdays, there’s more dancing to the DJs in Boomers and karaoke. Shenanigans isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a vacation experience!
