On top of all that, you’ll need to do some shopping while you’re here. While hitting the various shops and boutiques, make some time to stop in at a local Pocono farmers market or craft market and pick up unique gifts, stunning crafts, and fresh foods to add to your vacation meal table.
The Poconos Farmers Market

Monroe Farmers Market
Open seasonally, the 2024 season starts in May. Shop at the market for things like baked goods, cheeses, flowers, fruits, vegetables, meats, and more. This is a “producer-only” farmers’ market, meaning there are no arts and crafts, just delicious homemade or home-grown foods. Check their website for this year’s list of vendors, plus website and social media information for each. The market is located at 35 N. 7th Street (Courthouse Square) in Stroudsburg. The market is open Saturdays 8 a.m. – noon May 4-October 26, 2024. The full schedule can be found on their website.
