The Elk House is situated in the lovely private community of Lake Harmony Estates, Pennsylvania. The Elk House is a 3 story, 3200 square foot house that has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. This great mountain home has tongue and groove wood throughout the house as well as wood trim and hardwood and ceramic floors. The house is situated in the woods with a winter nighttime view of Big Boulder Ski Slopes. We have a large Great room that has a cathedral ceiling, a 63" Big Screen TV with DVD and a stone gas fireplace. The modern kitchen is perfect for cooking for large families. It has a side-by-side refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove, an island in the center and a breakfast bar. It also comes with a build in oven & microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic cookware. Off of the kitchen is our dining room area that has a 8’ dining room table that seats 10 plus a 3 person breakfast bar. In addition there is another family room with a ½ kitchen & a 27" TV equipped with a DVD. Our 24 x 17 foot game room holds our 8' pool table and professional foosball (table soccer) table. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience. To top if all off, a relaxing 6-8 person hot tub, which is professionally cleaned between tenants, awaits you on the back patio. The house is layed out for optimal use by larger families. Please see the amenity list above for all the amenites included. Do not forget to visit the Area Attractions section for a complete list of all the great things to see and do in the Poconos. The home is a 5 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 10 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. There are paddle boat rentals available on the lake during the summer season. The house is located 1 mile from the H20 indoor water park and the Galleria at Split Rock. Please go to the Area Attractions link to view. The home is minutes from numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia. Lake Harmony is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing, power boating (If you are bringing your boat, please call our office for a copy of the registration form) , water skiing, sailing and Jet Skiing (There are no jet ski rentals). We are located 3/4 miles from the beach. Lake Harmony has a private sandy beach with a lifeguard, a swimming platform, picnic tables and a beach volleyball court.
Your hot tub is professionally serviced and sanitized within 24hrs prior to your check-in. If you need your hot tub cleaned anytime during your stay, professional hot tub cleaning is available for $45.00. If the hot tub needs to be completely drained, it will be $65.00 Please just call our main number at 215-489-3206 and leave a message on the emergency voice mail prompt. Please do not forget to inspect your hot tub upon your arrival. If you are unsatisfied with the conditon of the hot tub (up until 7pm on the day of your check-in) you can call our office and we will gladly stop by and re-clean and balance the tub at no charge. Please schedule your arrival times accordingly. By following the hot tub rules listed in your tenant packet, you will greatly extend the time the hot tub water will remain clean.
