The beach and pools within Split Rock are not available for use by renters. We apologize for this inconvenience.  You can access the free lake and beach at Hickory Run State Park. If you require an outdoor pool, we recommend using the outdoor pool at Murphy's Loft.  It is a 5-10 minute drive.

The Big Horn Lodge is situated in the lovely resort community of Split Rock, Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania. The Big Horn Lodge was built in 2010. It is a 3 story, 3000 square foot house that has a total of 6 bedrooms (two being master suites with their own private full bathrooms) and 4 full baths. The house is situated on a private and very quite road within Split Rock Resort.

The house is for residential use and is layed out to accommodate family gatherings and family fun.  Please see the amenity list above for all the amenites included.  Do not forget to visit the Area Attractions section for a complete list of all the great things to see and do in the Poconos. 

The Big Horn Lodge has a game room with a pool table, a 32 " big screen LCD TV with a DVD player and a CD player.  The game room is 26' x 18'.  Directly off this room is the outdoor covered patio which holds the 6 to 8 person hot tub.  Located on the second floor is our large great room that has a cathedral ceiling, a 40 " big screen LCD TV with a DVD player and a stone see-thru gas fireplace. The modern kitchen is perfect for cooking for any size family with its spacious granite countertop and breakfast bar which seats 3. It has a side-by-side 25 cubic foot refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove & oven, and an over-the-range microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic cookware. Our dining room has an 8' solid wood table with seating for 10. Off of the great room is the Poker/Bonus room. This room has a seperate couch, 32" big screen LCD TV with a DVD and a round dining/poker table. On the third floor there is a large 13’ x 8 ’ loft that overlooks the great room and has an awesome view of the outdoors through the chalet windows. The loft is furnished with a daybed (twin bed) and a pull out trundle (twin bed). 

The outside of the home boasts 320 square foot of raised deck.  A Weber gas grill is located on the deck for grilling. We provide 2 seven foot picnic tables and 2 adirondack chairs.

The home is a 4 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 5 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area.   The house is located 1/2 mile from Split Rock Resort's H20 indoor water park and the Galleria. Split Rock has many pay-for-use services. Please go to the Area Attractions link to view. The home is minutes from numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Split Rock is located directly next to Lake Harmony and is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia.

Your hot tub is professionally serviced and sanitized within 24hrs prior to your check-in.  If you need your hot tub cleaned anytime during your stay,  professional hot tub cleaning is available for $85.00  Please just call our main number at 215-489-3206 and leave a message on the emergency voice mail prompt. Please do not forget to inspect your hot tub upon your arrival.  If you are unsatisfied with the conditon of the hot tub (up until 7pm on the day of your check-in) you can call our office and we will gladly stop by and re-clean and balance the tub at no charge.  Please schedule your arrival times accordingly.  By following the hot tub rules listed in your tenant packet, you will greatly extend the time the hot tub water will remain clean.  

NOTE:  Renters are not permitted to use the Private Split Rock beach and pools.
